Behavior in Mrs. Desloge's Class

In our class we practice being bucket fillers.  Based on the book Have You Filled a Bucket Today?  by Carol McCloud, the children are recognized as individuals when they are caught being kind or helpful.  When they are a caught being a “bucket filler”, they sign the bucket poster in our room.  Once the bucket poster is full, the entire class receives a reward.

Our class has four tables.  The tables work together to earn table tallies.  At the end of the week, if our class has 25 tallies then the class will be rewarded with a trip to the prize basket.

In addition, at Weatherstone we practice SAILing.  SAIL stands for being a safe, accountable, independent, leader.  Classes have the opportunity to earn SAILs several times throughout the day.  Classes have a chance to earn rewards based on the number of SAILs that they receive.  Specialists also give out individual SAILs to the students who show exemplary behavior during specials classes.
